Clinical practice teaching is an important part in the college medical education and the key stage in the education of different medical talents. However the quality of this education is worsening due to varied reasons. After investigating and analyzing the situation, we conclude that the main reasons are:unbalance of the increasing enrollment of students and the stagnation of establishment of the clinical teaching unit;severe competition in the medical market;launch of Act ol doctor license and Regulation about resolving medical complains; limited teaching time of doctors who do too much part time jobs; reformation of the employment regime of students when graduated; leaders' paying lessattentions on the medical teaching practice. To coping with these problems, the actions should be taken are: reducing the enrollment of medical students; leaders' changing their stereotype and paying more attentions on the medical teaching practice; increasing the teaching posts in the clinical teaching units; normalizing the establishment and management of the clinical teaching units; reformation of the policy of bonus and setting up rewarding regime in the clinical teaching.
