Abstract:Zygomatic bone and zygomatic arch are important anatomical structures that represent the characteristics and three-dimensional sense of the middle face. Excessive zygomatic bone and zygomatic arch directly affect the beauty and harmony of the face. As the main surgical method for clinical correction of prominent zygomatic arch, reduction malarplasty has made great progress in recent years. With the application of computer technology, image processing and digital technology, the reduction malarplasty has also made new progress. The combination of digital technology and reduction malarplasty plays an important role in improving the accuracy of surgery, maintaining stability and reducing complications. This article reviews the application of digital technology in preoperative measurement and simulation, intraoperative transformation and postoperative analysis of reduction malarplasty in recent years, in order to provide direction for the future development of digital technology in reduction malarplasty
