Abstract:Objective To analyze the effects of fluvoxamine maleate tablets combined with direct current stimulation on sleep quality and neurological function in patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia who were treated in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were selected, and the 80 patients were randomly divided into the control group and the study group, with 40 cases in each. The control group was treated with direct current stimulation; the study group was treated with fluvoxamine maleate tablets combined with direct current stimulation. The Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) was used to evaluate the clinical symptoms of patients with schizophrenia; the Cognitive Function Test Panel (MCCB) scoring scale, the Personal and Social Function Scale ( Personal and Social Functioning Scale, PSP) was used to evaluate patients′ cognitive function and social function; Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) was used to evaluate patients′ sleep quality; enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) The levels of hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), dopamine (DA) and norepinephrine (NE) were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, compared with the control group, the PANSS score and sleep quality score of the study group were decreased (P<0.05), the levels of MCCB, PSP, 5-HT, DA, and NE in the study group were all increased (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion After fluvoxamine maleate tablets combined with direct current stimulation treatment, the sleep quality of patients with schizophrenia is significantly improved, the neurological function is significantly improved, the cognitive function and social function are also significantly improved, and the clinical treatment effect is remarkable
