Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between X-ray Mammography characteristics and ER, PR, HER-2, Ki-67 expression and molecular subtypes of breast cancer. Methods The imaging and pathological data of 226 patients with breast cancer confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. χ2 test or Fisher's exact probability test was used to analyze the difference of the X-ray Mammography characteristics of breast cancer in ER, PR, HER-2, Ki-67 expression and molecular subtypes. Results The mass sign and the lobular sign were mostly negative for HER-2(P=0.01, P=0.04). The calcification sign was mostly negative for HER-2 and more than 14% for Ki-67(all P<0.01). The glitch sign was mostly positive for ER, PR and more than 14% for Ki-67(P<0.01, P=0.02, P<0.01); The depression sign and the lesion≥2 cm were more than 14% for Ki-67(P=0.03, P=0.02). Mass with or without calcification, structural distortion are more common in HER-2negative, simple calcification is more common in HER-2 overexpression, mass with or without calcification, simple calcification and structural distortion are all more common in Ki-67>14%(all P<0.01). Luminal B1and HER-2overexpression are more common in calcification sign, Luminal B1and Luminal Aare more common in glitch sign(P<0.01). Luminal A and Luminal B1are more common in simple mass., Luminal B1is more common in mass with calcification, HER-2 overexpression and Luminal B1are more common in simple calcification, while TNBC is the least,Luminal A and TNBC are relatively common in structural distortion(P<0.01). Conclusion The X-ray Mammography characteristics can provide relevant information for the immunohistochemical indexes and molecular subtypes of breast cancer.
