Abstract:Pesticide poisoning is an important social problem facing the world, and it is the most common cause of death among adults due to poisoning in China. Herbicides account for the largest proportion of pesticides. After paraquat was banned, other herbicide poisoning incidents gradually increased. Due to the wide variety of herbicides, different poisoning mechanisms, and different clinical diagnosis and treatment, there is still lack of systematic research on common herbicide poisonings, making clinicians face huge challenges in diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment. We should summarize the previous research experience, strengthen basic and clinical cooperation, carry out high-quality, multi-center clinical research, and provide evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of herbicide poisoning.
