【Abstract】 Objective To explore how to prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infection in nondesignated general hospitals during the outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods The hospital prevented and controlled nosocomial infection through these strategies, including the launch of emergency system, the establishment of COVID-19 prevention and control working committee, the formulation of corresponding working process, the emergency and hierarchical key training of all staff in the hospital. Results From January 17 to February 17,2020,79205 outpatients and emergency patients, 6517 inpatients and 1248 surgical patients were treated in Manyang Central Hospital. No staff and patients had nosocomial infection or suspected infection of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Conclusion Through the implementation of the prevention and control measures of covid 19 nosocomial infection, it is shown that effective management system, timely training of prevention and control professional knowledge, reasonable medical process and correct personal protection are the important links in the prevention and control of nosocomial infection in non designated general hospitals.
