Abstract:【Abstract】Aortic stenosis (AS) is a common aortic valvular disease. Surgical aortic valve replacement is the first choice. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is a recently alternative treatment for AS patients with high surgical risk such as old age, serious complications or severe reduction of left ventricular systolic function. Speckle tracking (STE) functional analysis tracks the authentic motion of acoustic speckles and provides novel deformation parameters, which can assess left ventricular function at early stage. Therefore, we aim to review the changes of left ventricular systolic function measured by STE after TAVI in AS patients.
