Methods Totally 23598 and 24300 residents aged 45 and over were recruited from the Shunqing District of Nanchong City in 2014 and 2015. Data was collected through questionnaire, physical examination, biochemical examination and dietary survey, and the health management of chronic disease was carried out simultaneously. Statistical analysis was performed using chisquare, ttest, variance analysis, and logistic regression analysis. Results The prevalence of dyslipidemia were 457% vs 294% in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The awareness rates were 72% vs 110% and the treatment rates were 23% vs 43%, respectively. Univariate analysis in 2014 showed that dyslipidemia was associated with gender, education, smoking, drinking, family history of dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, exercise, body mass index and so on. Logistic analysis in 2014 showed that gender, educational level, smoking, family history of dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, exercise and body mass index were independent factors of dyslipidemia. Univariate analysis in 2015 showed that dyslipidemia was associated with gender, educational level, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and body mass index. Logistic analysis in 2015 showed that gender, educational level, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, animal oil consumption, body mass index and other independent factors were related to dyslipidemia.
