【Abstract】 Objective To observe the clinical effect of HeTianzuo traditional Chinese medicine orthopedic therapy on treating lumbar disc herniation. Methods 518 patients with lumbar disc herniation in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to whether or not He Tianzuo traditional Chinese medicine bone setting therapy was implemented. Among them, 256 patients were in the observation group from October 2018 to December 2019, and 262 cases in the control group from January 2016 to September 2018. The two groups were divided into liver and kidney deficiency syndrome, blood stasis and qi stagnation syndrome, cold dampness obstruction syndrome. JOA and VAS scores, cure rate, effective rate, length of stay and treatment cost were compared between the two groups. Results OA and VAS scores, cure rate, effective rate, length of stay and treatment cost of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (all P＜0.05). Conclusion He Tianzuo traditional Chinese medicine bone setting therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation clinical pathway, can improve the cure rate, shorten the treatment days, reduce hospitalization costs, improve the quality of life, provide a standardized and unified clinical path for the hospital which inherits and applies the traditional Chinese medicine bone setting therapy of he Tianzuo, and provides a standard and unified clinical path for the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation for nonsurgical treatment of lumbar disc herniation Conclusion: the support of evidencebased medicine can be applied in clinical practice.
