【Abstract】 Hepatectomy has been the prior option for the treatment of most benign and malignant hepatobiliary diseases. Under the guidance of the concept of precision surgery, great progress has been made in the perihilar surgical techniques, which sets a higher request on the preoperative assessment and intraoperative management of perihilar surgery. The present article reviews the precise approaches of the assessment of localization, quantitation and structure of target lesions, so as to achieve the certainty, predictability and controllability of precision in liver surgery.
