Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the multi-slice spiral CT manifestations of intussusception secondary to intestinal lipoma, and to clarify its CT image characteristics and diagnostic value. Methods MSCT images and clinical data of 18 patients with intestinal lipoma secondary intussusception confirmed by clinicopathology were retrospectively analyzed. The tumor was divided into large intestine group (7 cases) and small intestine group (11 cases). The location, shape, size, density and the length of intussusception were analyzed. Results The tumors were round in 12 cases, lobulated in 5 cases and columnar in 1 case. The density was uniform fat densityin 10 cases and uneven in 8 cases. There were 11 cases in small intestine group, including 6 jejunum and 5 ileum; 7 in large intestine group, including 2 cecum, 3 ascending colon, 1 transverse colon and 1 descending colon. There were significant differences in the maximum diameter, volume and length of intussusception between the large intestine group and the small intestine group (P<0.05), but no significant differences in CT value (P>0.05). Conclusion Multi slice spiral CT can clearly show the location, shape, size and density of intussusception secondary to intestinal lipoma. Multi plane reconstruction and curved surface reconstruction can show the whole process of intussusception and provide a reasonable basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
