Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops combined with halometasone cream in the treatment of infantile superficial hemangioma of skin. Methods 90 infants with superficial hemangioma of skin treated in January 2018 to March 2019 in our hospital were selected and were randomly divided into the treatment group (45 cases)and the control group (45 cases). The treatment group was externally treated with halometasone cream and then externally applied with 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops. The control group was simply given timolol maleate eye drops. Patients in both groups were treated continuously for 3 months. The size, color, texture and adverse reactions of hemangiomas were observed and recorded in detail. Results At the end of the experiment (the 12th weekend), the total effective rate of the treatment group(88.9%) was significantly better than that of the control group (64.6%),(P=0.006,P<0.01). The effect time of the treatment group was significantly earlier than that of the control group. From the 8th weekend, the total effective rate of the two groups was significantly different. No serious adverse reactions were observed in both groups.〖WTHZ〗Conclusion 0.5% timolol maleate eye drops combined with halometasone cream external application had faster onset and higher total efficiency than simple application of timolol maleate eye drops. It had high safety and it is easy to operate.
