Abstract:In recent years, with the progress of ultrasonic instruments and the improvement of technical level, high-resolution ultrasound probe combined with harmonic imaging can significantly improve the real-time resolution of ultrasound to the intestinal wall, and can dynamically evaluate the peristalsis of the intestine. Color Doppler can be used to evaluate the vascularization of the intestinal wall. Pulse Doppler can be used to quantify the blood flow of abdominal cavity and superior mesenteric artery, which has the characteristics of low cost, no radiation, no invasion, safety and strong repeatability, so that the application of ultrasound in the diagnosis of intestinal obstruction is more and more extensive. In this paper, the detection methods, imaging features and clinical management guidance of ultrasound for intestinal obstruction were reviewed to explore the application value of ultrasound in the diagnosis and management of intestinal obstruction.
