Abstract:Objective To provide data support for further clarifying the key points of treatment, optimizieemergency procedures and rationally using emergency resources. Methods The basic information and diagnostic data of 20,856 emergency patients during the period from 0:00 on January 1, 2017 to 23〖DK〗∶59 on December 31, 2017 were collected through the hospital HIS system. The gender and age of the patients were collected. The time of treatment, type of disease and admission were analyzed.Results Among the 20,856 patients, the male was more than that of females. Youth group (4597%) had the highest rate of emergency treatment. The highest and lowest patient visits were seen in the summer (26.63%) and in the spring (23.46%) respectively. August is the the monthly peak of emergency visits (958%), while April is the valley value (7.49%). Emergency visits weektime fluctuations (14.02%1459%) was not obvious. For one day, the peak hour was 20:0021:00, 4 hours peak hours was 18:0022:00. Trauma (23.30%), digestive system (2125%) and other diseases (1429%) were the top three diseases in disease spectrum. The hospitalization rate of emergencypatients in the whole year was 1441%, which was significantly higher than that of outpatients in the same period. Conclusion The emergency department of the hospital has a certain regularity, and the hospital may consider increasing the class in advance according to the law.
