【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the feasibility , safety and hygienic economics value of the Selflocking Nylon Cable Ties instead of the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers in the natural orifice specimen extraction surgery of colorectal cancer. Methods A retrospective controlled study was conducted to collect the clinical data of 50 patients with colorectal cancer underwent natural orifice specimen extraction surgery using the Selflocking Nylon Cable Ties instead of the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers in Nanchong Central Hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 (the Selflocking Nylon Cable Tie group). The clinical data of 50 patients with colorectal cancer underwent natural orifice specimen extraction surgery using the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers were collected(the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers group). The operative time, estimated bleeding volume, intraoperative complications, Creactive protein value on the second day after operation, postoperative exhaust time, postoperative intake fluid diet time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications within 30 days, total hospitalization costs were compared between the two groups. Results Two groups of patients successfully completed surgery with no conversion to open surgery. There were no significant differences in operative time, estimated bleeding volume, intraoperative complications, Creactive protein value on the second day after operation, postoperative exhaust time, postoperative intake fluid diet time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications within 30 days between the two groups (all P＞005). However, The average hospitalization cost of the Selflocking Nylon Cable Ties group was 43,000 RMB less than that of the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers group (46,000 RMB), The differences was statistically significant(P＜005). Conclusion The application of the Selflocking Nylon Cable Ties instead of the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers in the natural orifice specimen extraction surgery of colorectal cancer is safe and feasible, The shortterm effect of the two groups is the same. the Selflocking Nylon Cable Tie group can save the consumption of the Endoscopic linear Cutter Staplers，reduce the cost of treatment, and the Selflocking Nylon Cable Tie is convenient to obtain materials, economical and practical, and has good hygienic economics value.
