Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the effects of experiential learning inpatients with type 2 diabetes disease knowledge. Methods 140 patients with T2DM were selected by convenience sampling from the target population. They were allocated to intervention group (n=70) and control group (n=70) by date of admission. On the basis of comprehensive intervention (including routine nursing care, informatization management with Diabetes health management system, WeChat group of T2DM, Telephone followup after discharge, etc.), the intervention group received experiential learning therapy. The General Questionnaire (including general status and diseaserelated materials) applied to collect information of all subjects on five times (On admission, discharge, 1 month after discharge, discharge after 3 months, 6 months after discharge). Results 125 subjects completed all research procedure (experimental group=61, control group=64). After the intervention, the intervention group of ChineseADKnowl score was higher than that of control group. The two factors of repeated measures ANOVA and further simple effect analysis, the ADKnowl score of two groups in 2 time points ( months and 6 months after discharge of ) had significant differences (P< 005).Conclusion Experiential learning can promote the knowledge level of patients with type 2 diabetes, and has good shortterm and longterm effects.
