【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of compound Danshen injection combined with cimetidine in the treatment of HSP. Method All of the clinical randomized controlled trials (RCT) of compound Danshen injection and cimetidine in the treatment of HSP were retrieved and collected from The various Chinese and foreign databases, OA resources library, Baidu academic search engine, and the latest printed literatures. Two reviewers evaluated the quality of the trials and extracted the data independently. RevMan53 software was used for metaanalysis. Results A total of 15 RCTs involving 1005 patients were identified. The methodology of the included trials was poor and potential publication bias existed. The results of metaanalysis showed that in terms of total efficiency, the treatment groups of compound Danshen injection combined with cimetidine were better than control groups with or without cimetidine. Compare with the control group, the therapeutic regimen of compound Danshen injection combined with cimetidine could reduce the recurrence rate and the renal damage rate. It could shorten the disappearance time of rash, the abdominal pain subsiding time, the symptom subsiding time of digestive tract, the joint pain disappearing time and the recovery time of renal damage. No serious adverse reactions were reported during treatment. Conclusion The therapeutic regimen of compound Danshen injection combined with cimetidine is a relatively safe and effective for HSP. However, the quality of the literature is low, so highquality clinical trials are needed to verify its effect.
