Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Xuebijing combined with norepinephrine (NE) in patients with septic shock (SS) and its effects on hemodynamics, serum C reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT) levels. Methods 114 patients with SS treated in our hospital from June 2015 to June 2017 were selected and equally divided into two groups with the method of random number table. The control group was treated with norepinephrine. On the basis of control group treatment, the observation group was added with Xuebijing. The clinical efficacy, hemodynamic parameters, serum levels of CRP and PCT before and after the treatment and adverse reactions were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results After 14d of the treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 930%, which increased significantly compared with that of the control group (789%, P<005). With the prolongation of the treatment time, the value of pulmonary artery wedge pressure (PAWP), central venous pressure (CVP), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and cardiac index (CI) of the two groups increased gradually (P<005). After 7, 14 days of the treatment, the improvement of the above indicators in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group in the same time period (P<005). The serum levels of CRP and PCT both decreased gradually with the prolongation of the treatment time in the two groups (P<001). After 7, 14 days of the treatment, the levels of the above indicators in the observation group was significantly lower than those of the control group in the same time period (P<001). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group (105% vs 140%, P>005). Conclusion Xuebijing combined with norepinephrine in the treatment of septic shock can eliminate or alleviate the symptoms and signs of patients, improve microcirculation and the therapeutic effect safely and reliably.
