Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To analyze the incidence and related factors of gastroparesis (GS) in convalescence of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP). Methods 189 patients with SAP treated in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2016 were enrolled in the study. The incidence and related independent risk factors of GS in convalescence of SAP were analyzed. ResultsThe incidence of GS in the 189 patients was 794% (15 cases). Age, gender, BMI, history of diabetes mellitus, albumin levels in later period, surgical treatment, the blood glucose levels, anxiety and depression, the incidence of cardiovascular complications and arterial blood pH were the single factors influencing the incidence of GS in convalescence of SAP (P<005). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that gender (OR=33181, P=0003, 95CI% 2502457105), history of diabetes mellitus (OR=12354, P=0011, 95CI% 186381941), surgery (OR=16232, P=0004, 95CI% 269797710) and anxiety and depression (OR=1530, P=0021, 95CI% 09402489) were the independent risk factors for GS in convalescence of SAP, and albumin level in later period (OR=0289, P=0043, 95CI% 00140768) was a protective factor for GS in convalescence of SAP. Conclusion Female, with history of diabetes mellitus, surgery, depression and anxiety are the risk factors for GS in convalescence of SAP, and high albumin level in later period is the protective factor. Adopting symptomatic nursing, strengthening the treatment of primary diseases and enteral nutrition support are conductive to prevention of GS.
