Abstract:Objective To investigate the bone mineral density (BMD) of special printing industry population and analyze its influencing factors. Methods 159 employees in a bill printing factory were enrolled in this study. The questionnaire was used to collect the general information. Omnisense7000 bone densitometry was used to obtain Tscore of BMD. Tscore of employees with different characteristics were compared using two sample t test and oneway ANOVA. The effects of investigating factors on BMD were analyzed using ordered logistic regression. Results Tscore of average BMD of 159 employees was0.65±1.10. Gender, age, parents underwent osteoporosis, insolation, and smoking affected Tscore of BMD significantly (P<0.05). The ordered Logistic regression analysis of 16 facts ( gender, age, parents underwent osteoporosis, smoking and so on) showed that gender and insolation were the influencing factors (P<0.05). Conclusion The Tscore of BMD in special printing industry population decreased which was affected by gender and insolation.
