Abstract:Objective To learn about the occurrence of fatigue of the maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients after hemodialysis, and analyze the related factors to provide basis for the clinical intervention studies. Methods 148 patients of maintenance hemodialysis in our hospital were investigated by Piper fatigue scale. Factors related to fatigue were analyzed. Results After hemodialysis, the patients with different levels of fatigue accounted for 54.7%, among which the patients with mild, moderate and severe fatigue were 25%, 23% and 6.7%, respectively. According to the correlation analysis, the occurrence of feeling of fatigue after hemodialysis was relevant to the patients age, dialysis age, ultrafiltration volume, acute complications during hemodialysis, hemoglobin level and micro-inflammatory state (P<0.05). After hemodialysis, 26.4% of patients with fatigue could recover within 4 hours, and 19.6% of patients need at least 12 hours to recover. Conclusion, The phenomenon of fatigue of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients after hemodialysis is extensive and serious, and related to a variety of factors which needs to be prevented and dealt with according to the specific reasons.
