Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To summarize the differences of ICT, IRT, ET and Tei index in children with different left ventricular systolic function, and explore the influence of isolated left ventricular noncompaction (iLNVC) on left ventricular function in children. Methods 45 children with iLNVM were involved in the present study. The children were divided into group A (15 cases with left ventricular systolic dysfunction), group B (30 cases with normal left ventricular systolic function) and group C (normal control group). The difference between ET and Tei index among group A, group B and group C were analyzed. Results The ICT in group A was longer than that in group C (P<005). The IRT of group A, group B and group C were the longest, the second and the shortest (P<005). There was no significant difference in ET among 3 groups (P>005). The Tei index of group A, group B and group C were the largest, the second, and the lest (P<005). Conclusion Children with iLNVC may already have abnormal diastolic function before left ventricular systolic function reduced. Tei index to evaluate left ventricular function can detect abnormal cardiac function early in iLNVC children.
