Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the nursing of venous nutrition on phlebitis induced by peripherallyinserted central catheter in premature infants. Methods 64 premature infants with venous nutrition on phlebitis induced by peripherallyinserted central catheter were divided into observation group and control group. The control group was treated with hydrogel applicator and infrared light irradiation. The observation was treated with hydrogel applicator and infrared light irradiation and stopped Input of venous nutrient solution. The disappearance time of phlebitis, weight gain of 15 days, hospitalization days and expenses were compared between the two groups. Results The disappearance time of phlebitis in the observation group and control group were not different (P> 005). The 15 day weight and hospitalization cost of observation group was different from that of control group (P< 005). Conclusion When mechanical phlebitis occurs in preterm infants during venous nutrition, venous nutrition should not be stopped. After no improvement or aggravation, we should stop the infusion of venous nutrient solution or pull out the PICC catheter.
