Gynecologic tumor is harm to women health. Gynecologic malignancies are a leading cause of cancerrelated death for women in developing countries. Many researches showed that Sox2 is a pluripotent regulator, and Sox2 abnormal expression is closely related to the development of gynecologic tumors. In this paper, we reviewed recent advances about the Sox2 gene in gynecologic tumors.
