【Abstract】Objective To investigate the condition with disease of prostate calcification in men of health examination crowd.Methods The survey involved 1667 men's health examination from November 2015 1 -15. when the bladder filling, GE Logio7, GE E9, Philips HD11 color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic instrument was used to record the prostate, prostate size, shape, calcification and calcification size, shape, number and distribution.Results There were 640 cases with prostatic calcification (38.40%). The prevalence rate of less than 40 years old, 40 ~ 49 year old, 50 to 59 years old, 60 ~ 69 years old, 70 to 79 years old and 80 years of age or older were 27.7%, 34.0%, 44.9%, 47.0%, 55.7% and 72.0%. The single srostate calcification rated was 46.2%. The multiple calcification was 53.8%. The single calcification rate of ＜40 years old age group was higher than that of the other (P＜0.05). The gathered and round shaped calcification was 43.3%. The isolated calcification was 39.1%. Conclusion The prostate calcification is common and easily overlooked and often associated with other prostate disease. Ultrasonography is a simple and convenient and noninvasive method.
