【Abstract】Objective To compare and analyze the ultrasonographic features of parotid basal cell tumor and the polymorphic adenoma, and provide reference for the differential diagnosis of 2 kinds of diseases. Methods From June 2012 to June 2016 in our hospital, the parotid basal cell tumor patients with pathologically confirmed 28 cases were selected as the observation group. 84 parotid pleomorphic adenoma patients were selected as control group. The results of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of parotid gland were analyzed. Results In the observation group, the tumor shape was an ellipse shape, homogeneous echo of parenchyma and a higher proportion of tumor within the anechoic area (P＜0.05). There were no significant difference of the tumor boundary was clear, the echo enhancement and the distribution of tumor blood flow between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion There are a significant difference between the 2 types of tumors and the ultrasonic features of the parotid basal cell tumor and the polymorphic adenoma.
