Abstract:【Abstract】 Objectives To investigate the influence of islet beta cells function and micro inflammatory state of type 2 diabetes mellitus with pancreatic islet treated by liraglutide. Methods 134 obese patients with T2DM in our hospital from Jan. 2012 to Jun. 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the control groups and the observation groups. The blood glucose index, body mass index, micro inflammation state and islet beta cell function changes of two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results The levels of FBG, 2hPBG and HbAlc in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control groups level (P<005). The levels of IL6, TNFand ASAA of observation groupwere significantly lower than those in control group (P<005). The level of HOMAIR of observation group was significantly lower than the level the level of the control group (P<005) while the HOMAβ levels of observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<005). Conclusion The liraglutide could enhance the function of islet beta cells, improve the micro inflammatory state to control T2DM in obese patients with blood glucose and body mass. The comprehensive effect is better than metformin alone.
