【Abstract】 Ovarian cancer was one of the three major gynecological carcinoma. Because of lacking typical symptoms and diagnostic method in early stage, it was difficult to diagnose and treat, as well as the mortality rate was rather high. Preliminary studies have found that the preoperative platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR)，which is one of the inflammatory marker, was closely associated with ovarian cancer, such as diagnosis, disease progression, tumor satisfaction cytoreductive surgery and so on. However, the study of its mechanism was still fragmentary. In this paper, the relationship between ovarian cancer and PLR will be reviewed.
