【Abstract】 Objective To explore clinical effect of uterine artery embolization (UAE) on treating of hysteromyoma.Methods The effect of UAE treatment on 80 patients with hysteromyoma were evaluated in 2014 year. The blood flow signal of hysteromyoma inside and around, volume change and visited information were used to observe the clinical effect and quality of life within 2 years after UAE operation. Results Blood flow signal significantly weakened at 3 and 6 months after UAE operation. The hysteromyoma volume was significantly reduced (P＜ 005) at 3, 6 and 12 months after UAE operation. The hysteromyoma volume was gradually reduced, stable trend after 2 years. The clinical symptom improved rate was 925% within 2 years after UAE operated. Conclusion Clinical effect of uterine artery embolization is obvious on treating of hysteromyoma, which can retain the uterine physiological function and improve the life quality of patients. UAE is effective and safe in Uterine myoma therapy．
