Abstract:【Abstract】 Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the lung and whole body caused mainly by tobacco smoking. Traditional therapy is difficult to achieve ideal treatment effect because COPD is characterized by repeated attacks, irreversible pathological changes and vulnerable to infections. Malnutrition is one of the most important comorbidities of COPD. Nutritional therapy is a new method to treat COPD in recent years which is gradually becoming a newpattern auxiliary measure for its convenience, easilycontrolling and low cost. The present review mainly focuses on the progress of nutritional therapy of COPD, for deeper research of treatment and prevention.
