【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate pharmaceutical interventions of lansoprazole for injection on clinical medication.Methods 500 patients of lansoprazole for injection were chosen from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015 by simple random sampling for retrospective analysis. The rationality of clinical medication was analyzed with evaluation standard. The Pointed interventions were conducted in irrational application, and the effect was evaluated before and after intervention.Results The administration without indication（194 cases, 38.80%）, inappropriate dosage frequency（93 cases, 18.60%）, long course of treatment（84 cases，16.80%） and changing drugs without indication （89 cases, 17.80%）were the most common irrational applications. The rate of rational application of lansoprazole for injection was 12.6% while the rate of rational use was improved to 35.0% after interventions（P＝0.000）.Conclusion The irrational application of lansoprazole for injection is not rare in our hospital. Significant improvement is got after intervention. The management standard on rational application of proton pump inhibitors should be established and further intervention measures should be taken.
