Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To explore the applied value of thyroid imaging reporting and data system(TIRADS) stratification in diagnosing benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods The basic data of 89 patients with thyroid nodules checked from January 2010 to December 2014 in the third people's hospital of panzhihua, including 58 patients who had a surgery of resection of thyroid gland were analyzed. The diagnostic efficiency of TIRADS stratification under the premise that postoperative pathological results were regarded as the gold standard were observed. Results The sex ratio (M:F) of patients with thyroid nodules wass 1:2.3. The most highrisk age of thyroid nodules resided in the group of 4049. There were 32 Benign cases and 26 malignant cases in the 58 patients according to the postoperative pathological results. There was no significant difference in incidence of malignant lesions in male and female patients(χ2=2.31,P>0.05). The incidence of malignant lesions in patients with Single nodules was higher than that in patients with multiple nodules, and there had Statistical significance between the differences (χ2=7.82,P<0.05). The sensitivity and method y of TIRADS in diagnosing malignant thyroid were 92.31% and 84.37%. Besides, Kappa value was 0.76.Conclusion The consistency of the results from the two methods between TIRADS stratification and postoperative pathological results is closer. The two methods have clinical application value. The diagnosis coincidence rate of combining the two methods is higher than each single method, and it can be popularized in clinical application.
