【Abstract】 Objective To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasound in diagnosis of cerebral ischemic stroke in patients with carotid artery plaque.Methods 112 cerebral infaction patients were selected as the research object. The carotid artery lumen diamenter, number of atherosclerotic plaques, morphology and blood flow parameters were observed with color ultrasound diagnostic instrument. 72 health people were selected as control.Results The carotid artery atheromatous plaque detection rate of cerebral infarction group (82.80%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (36.11%) ( P＜0.05). The carotid artery diasstolic minimun blood flow velocity (EDV) of cerebral infarction group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05). The carotid artery resistance index (RI) of cerebral infarction group was higher than that of the control group ( P＜0.05). Conclusion The rate of plaque in patients with ischemic stroke is higher than that in control group. The blood flow parameters of carotid artery ultrasound can help to improve the accuracy of diagnosis in patients with ischemic stroke.
