Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the effects of ATP biological fluorescence method for rapid evaluation of the disinfection quality of surgical suture kits. Methods The study time was from August 2015 to April 2016. 160 surgical suture kits in our hospital were selected. Those kits were given high pressure steam sterilization and divided into two parts, respectively. Those kits were evaluated by ATP bioluminescence assay and colony counting detection. Results The qualified rate by ATP bioluminescence assay and colony counting were 994% and 988% (P>005). Colony count ranges of CFU were 034 (189±034 CFU). The ATP value of RUL were 3223 (1530±429 RUL). Linear correlation analysis showed that the number of colonies and the ATP value had the linear relationship(P<005). The linear correlation equation were y=10576x-66518, R2=09982. The average detection time of ATP bioluminescence assay and colony counting were 3214±420 h by and 420±145 (P<005). Conclusion ATP biological fluorescence method can quickly evaluate the disinfection quality of surgical suture kits, effectively reflect the number of bacterial colonies and provide effective and rapid detection index for hospital disinfection effect.
