Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of transvaginal hysterectomy (VM) and laparoscopic hysterectomy (LM) in treatment of uterine fibroids. Methods 236 patients with myomectomy surgery were enrolled in this study and divided into LM groups (120 cases) and VM group (116 cases). The operative time, blood loss, number myomectomy, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, hospital stay, cost of hospitalization and the incidence of postoperative complications were observed. Results Compared with that of LM group, the operation time of VM group was greatly shortened, intraoperative amount of bleeding of VM group was significantly reduced. The difference is statistically significant (P<005). Compared with that of LM group, the postoperative exhaust time and hospital stay of VM group were significantly shortened, the cost of hospitalization of VM group was significantly decreased. The difference was statistically significant (P<005). The rate of complications of VM group and LM group were 690% and 750% (P>005). The recurrence rate of VM group and LM group were 086% and 167%, two groups there was no significant difference between (P>005).Conclusion VM and LM in treatment of uterine fibroids have significant effect, including short surgery a time, little intraoperative blood loss and low treatment cost.
