Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of complications of plateau Tibetan patients with COPD and provide reference for the prevention of plateau Tibetan COPD complications. Methods 600 plateau Tibetan COPD patients with complications of were retrospectively analyzed. The incidence, the risk factors and pathogenesis of plateau Tibetan COPD patients with complications were displayed. Results The complications of plateau Tibetan COPD patients included hypertension, CVD (cardiovascular disease), metabolic syndrome, bronchiectasis, infection, anxiety, depression and bronchial asthma. the highest percentage complication was hypertension (333%), followed by CVD including corpulmonale, coronary heart disease and arrhythmia (165%), diabetes (118%) and bronchiectasis (6.3%). The incidence in different gender had no obvious difference (P>005). Hypertension and CVD in 60 ~ 80 age group had the highest percentage (P<005). The metabolic syndrome, bronchiectasis and infection ratio in >80 age group had the highest percentage (P<005). Conclusion In plateau hypoxia environment, COPD is often complicated with many kinds of diseases. The hypoxia, inflammation and oxidative stress of COPD promote CVD and t hypertension, aggravate metabolic disorders and induce diabetes.
