Objective To study the effect and prognosis of orthodontic treatment on anterior teeth displacement by periodontitis.Methods 40patients(91teeth)with anterior teeth displacement by periodontitis were selected as study objects.The patients were treated with orthodontic treatment.The alveolar bone absorption degree,gingival bleeding index and periodontal pocket depth were observed.Results The number of patients with low gingival bleeding index before treatment was more than that after treatment(P<0.05).The tooth mobility before treatment was higher than that after treatment(P<0.05).The alveolar bone absorption degree before treatment was higher than that after treatment(P<0.05).The effective rate was 92.5%.Conclusion Orthodontic treatment can improve periodontal inflammation and has the obvious curative effect.
