Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between serum uric acid level and insulin resistance and renal damage in patients with type 2diabetic nephropathy, and provide evidence for the prevention and treatment of this disease. Methods 139 patients with type 2diabetes mellitus were divided into normal uric acid group(n=78)and high uric acid group(n=61),according to the level of serum uric acid. The level of insulin resistance index such as FINS,HbA1 C,HOMA-IR,TG,FBG and renal damage index such as BUN,UAER and Cr were observed. Results The level of FINS,HbA1 Cand HOMA-IR in the high uric acid group were higher than that of the normal uric acid group(P<0.05).The level of TG and FBG had no statistical differences between the two groups(P>0.05).The level of BUN,UAER and Cr in the high uric acid group were higher than that of the normal uric acid group(P<0.05).Correlation analysis shown that serum uric acid level was positively correlated with FINS(r=0.663,P<0.05),HOMA-IR(r=0.494,P<0.05),BUN(r=0.523,P<0.05)and UAER(r=0.541,P<0.05).Conclusion The level of serum uric acid is related to the insulin resistance and renal damage in patients with type 2diabetes mellitus.Maybe, monitoring the level of serum uric acid could provide important basis to the prevention and treatment of insulin resistance and renal damage in patients with type2 diabetes nephropathy. 更多
