Objective This study sought to characterize the pattern of cytokines and immune-type in nasal polyp tissues with and without atopic patients.Methods Atopic and nonatopic polyp and normal tissues were collected from 85 CRSwNP patients and 36 control subjects.The levels of Th cells cytokine and inflammatory mediators in tissue homogenates were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).sIgE in serum and prick skin for determining of Atopic were detected.The mRNA levels of relative transcription factors were determined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qPCR).The anti-IgE stimulated polyp tissues in vitro were did for further verified.Results Atopic CRSwNP patients were characterized by enhanced eosinophilic inflammation(elevated IL-5,ECP and total IgE),and significantly increased GATA-3 mRNA level(P<0.05).However,both atopic and non-atopic CRSwNP patients showed decreased FOXP3 mRNA expression(P<0.05).After anti-IgE stimulation,atopic polyps released more IL-5,IL-2and IL-17 in the supernatant of stimulated polyp tissues than nonatopic.Conclusion Atopic and nonatopic nasal polyp patients carry on different immuny-type and profile of different inflammation response in polyp tissues.
