Abstract:【Abstract】 Hyperuricemia (HUA) is a common purine metabolic disease. It not only could cause gout attack, but also could affect multiple systems in human bodies. Many countries in the world develop guidelines for HUA and gout. In 2019, based on the recommends about 3 principles and 10 clinical questions, Chinese Endocrine Society of Chinese Medical Association made a new guideline to explain the diagnosis and treatment for HUA and gout. This guideline proposed several new definitions, and suggestions about acute gout attack, urine alkalization and urate lowering therapy according to different complications and strategies. Here, for purpose of helping clinical doctors to better understand the diagnosis and treatment for HUA and gout, we will interpret this guideline by combining the light spots extraction and a clinic case report.
