Abstract:Basic and clinical studies have demonstrated that the COVID-19 can not only cause severe pathological changes in the patient's respiratory system, but also induce a diverse injuries to the cardiovascular system. The above mentioned injuries usually have the characteristics of both inflammation and noninflammatory injuries. The clinical manifestations of some patients are not parallel to the severity of the disease, and the condition progress rapidly. The full use of simple and reliable cardiopulmonary combined ultrasound detection methods will help the classification and management of patients with COVID-19, and help timely and effective onsite disease monitoring and treatment efficacy assessment.
