Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of positive psychological guidance in nursing of postpartum depression. Methods 86 patients with postpartum depression admitted to our hospital from December 2015 ~2017 December were selected as study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group (43 cases) and observation group (43 cases). The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was guided by positive psychology on the basis of the control group. The changes of depressive symptoms, quality of life before and after intervention and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were observed. Results There was no significant difference in depressive symptoms between the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05). After the intervention, the symptoms were improved. The Postpartum Depression Screen Scale (PDSS) and Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, the prognosis was improved, the Greneric Quarity of Life Inventor-74(GQOLI-74)scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the patients in the observation group was 9535%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (81.40%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of nursing intervention under the guidance of positive psychology can promote the reduction of depression in patients with postpartum depression, improve their quality of life, and increase nursing satisfaction. It is worth promoting.
