Abstract:【Abstract】〓Objective〓Liuhedan is produced by West China Hospital of Sichuan University, it is widely used in the treatment of acute inflammation, but less used in chronic inflammation and wound after surgery. This study applied Liuhedan to the infective wound of rabbits,in order to reveal the mechanism of promotion to wound healing. Methods〓 40 rabbits were modeled after anesthesia. 5 circular wounds were made on the back of each rabbit. Each wound was 2cm deep. Five wound divided into 5 groups including control group, model group, treatment group (Liuhedan), Western medicine group (Calcium Alginat) and Chinese medicine group (Lithospermum oil). Dressing changes were performed every day after surgery. Results〓At 3 days,7 days and 14 days after surgery, the wound healing rate of treatment group, Western medicine group and control group had statistically difference compared with model group and Chinese medicine group (P<005). The time of wound healing of treatment group had statistically difference compared with model group and Chinese medicine group (P<005). The expression of SP of treatment group was strong at 3 days, 7 days, 14 days and 21 days after surgery. There were statistically significant difference compared with model group and Chinese medicine group (P<005). The expression of MMP1 of treatment group and Western medicine group were strong at 7 days,14 days and 21 days after surgery. There were statistically significant difference compared with model group and Chinese medicine group (P<005). The expression of bFGF of treatment group was strong at 3 days, 7 days and 14 days after surgery. There were statistically significant difference compared with model group and Chinese medicine group (P<005).Conclusion〓Liuhedan could promote the secretion of SP, MMP1 and bFGF in infective wound of rabbits significantly, stimulate and induce infective wound to be repaired faster.
