Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of community nursing in cancer patients with PICC.Methods 96 cancer patients with PICC were randomly divided into two groups according to random number table. The observation group was given with community nursing intervention and the control group was given with routine peripheral vein placement of central venous catheter. The incidence of complications (venous thrombosis, infection, catheter obstruction, extubation), meantime of PICC in two groups was analyzed with software SPSS 20.Results The difference of the incidence of complications (venous thrombosis, infection, catheter obstruction, extubation), meantime of PICC betweenobservation group and control groupis not significant(P>0.05). Conclusion The application of community nursing in cancer patients with PICC is safe and able to implicate in community.
