Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of cardiac health rehabilitation model based on Health Promotion Ecological Model (HPEM) in patients with coronary artery disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods The HPEM model was used as a theoretical basis to construct a hospitalcommunityfamily cardiac rehabilitation continuous care service for patients after PCI. A randomized controlled study was conducted to select 86 patients with postoperative PCI who were hospitalized in a top three hospital from December 2017 to June 2018. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group underwent routine cardiac discharge care in the cardiology department. The experimental group implemented a HPEM-based cardiac rehabilitation continuous care model based on the control group. The quality of life and self-management behavior of the two groups of patients after 6 months of discharge were compared. Results 78 subjects completed the study. After 6 months of discharge, the scores of the selfadministration behavior scores, medication adherenceand quality of life scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion HPEM-based cardiac rehabilitation continuation care can encourage patients' selfmanagement behavior, promote the patient's medication adherenceand improve the quality of life of patients after PCI.
