【Abstract】 Tumor marker CA125 is used for screening, diagnosis, followup and prognosis assesement of ovarian cancer. However, But with the development of research on CA125,some studies found the potential roles of CA125 in HF. CA125 has been found to be related to clinical, hemodynamic, and echocardiographic parameters in patients with heart failure, and it can be used for the observation of curative effect and prognosis evaluation of heart failure. This review outlines the key areas of current research about CA125 in HF,and indicates that CA125 has high potential to be a biomarker in HF.
