Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To discuss the value of Echocardiography from right parasternal ultrasound sections in diagnosis of ascending aorta distension. Methods To compare the clear and intact display rate and diagnostic accordance rate of ascending aorta distension between using left combined with right parasternal ultrasound sections and only using left sections, 112 patients with ascending aorta distension confirmed by CT angiography(CTA) or operation were analyzed retrospectively. Results (1) Compared with only using left sections, left combined with right views can obviously improved the clear and intact display rate of dilated ascending aorta (P<005), rate of intimal flap ,communication of double lumen and involved range of ascending aortic dissection(P<005),and rate of morphological structure and involved range of ascending aortic aneurysm(P<005).(2) Compared with only using left sections, left combined with right views can obviously improved the diagnostic accordance rate of ascending aortic dissection and aneurysm (P<005).Conclusion Left combined with right views can obviously improved the display and diagnostic accordance rate of ascending aorta distension.Right parasternal ultrasound sections have important assisted diagnostic value for ascending aorta distension.
