Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the level of stigma in HIV / AIDS patients and analyze its influencing factors and its correlation with quality of life. Methods 278 outpatients with HIV / AIDS were surveyed and analyzed by using the general information questionnaire, social impact scale (SIS) and SF36 scale. Results The SIS score of HIV / AIDS patients was (6690 ± 1277) points. There were significant differences in the level of stigma among patients with different marital status, educational level, monthly income, stable residence, time of HIV infection and infection (P<005). There were negative correlation between emotional function and mental health scores with SIS scores and all dimensions (all P<005). Multivariate regression analysis showed that there were a stable residence, infection time, route of infection, emotional function and mental health were associated with stigma associated with HIV / AIDS patients. Conclusion This study shows that the level of stigma in HIVinfected persons / AIDS patients is affected by many factors, which are negatively correlated with the emotional quality of life and mental health, which should be taken seriously by clinicians.
