Abstract:【Abstract】Over recent years, there has been new progress in minimally invasive surgical treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Transurethral resection of the prostate, as the golden standard surgery, is facing various challenges. Operations on laserassist transuresthral enucleation of the prostate are widely accepted both domestic and international. Clinical trials using new technologies such as transurethral split of the prostate with columnar balloon catheter, prostate urethral lift (Urolift), convective water vapor treatment (Rezum system) and water ablation therapy (Aquablation) are continuously proceeding. Minimally invasive surgeries for benign prostatic hyperplasia will be increasingly performed in outpatient settings in the future.
