Abstract:【Abstract】 Objective The aim of this study was to evaluate the ultrasound imaging features of pneumonia in children and to evaluate the value of lung ultrasound in children with pneumonia. Methods 148 cases of pneumonia cases in our hospital from Dec. 2014 to Jun. 2016 were collected. The control group consisted of 50 children without any lung disease. The characteristics of B ultrasound imaging were summarized. In the study group, the lung X ray examination was used as a reference standard to compare the results of lung ultrasound. Results 145 patients with pneumonia had imaged abnormal ultrasound. The main ultrasound imaging features of pneumonia in children included pleural line abnormalities, disappeared A line appeared B line, etc. There was no statistically significant difference of lung X ray results between the tow groups (P>0.05). The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of lung ultrasound in the diagnosis of pneumonia in children were 97.97%, 94% and 96.96%. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic signs of pleural line abnormalities, disappeared A line and appeared B line were 97.97%, 94% and 96.96%. Conclusion Lung ultrasound is accurate and reliable that using it to diagnose pneumonia in children.
